For smaller companies that do not have dedicated IT staffs, adequately
securing data is nearly impossible without outside intervention. Even companies
that have multiple sites must have the know-how to ensure data is adequately
encrypted and physically secure. For companies on either end of the spectrum,
the amount of labor required to conscientiously manage the backup process is
draining-both on the personnel involved and the budget.
This is how it works....
We operate out of geographic redundant data centers that house
our off-site storage facility. At the facility, an account is
maintained for each client. Each account is protected by a password.
The data is encrypted using 448 bit encryption and then
compressed before the client sends it to the server. 3 layered
authentication. Your data is
totally secure on our systems. No one has access to your data but
you. Your data is available for file or system restoration 24 hours
a day, 365 days a year!
The Off Site Backup Software can run as a system service or as an
application. As a service the clients computer automatically wakes up and prepares
its data for backup, it determines which files have been modified since
the last backup, compresses them, encrypts them with the highest
level possible on the planet (448 bit) for security. When the
data is ready the computer contacts our Servers and
transmit the data.
Our Servers verify and store the data. You are notified via email
of every job! The data is stored in geographic redundant data
centers for disaster proof availability. You can rest assured
that your data is safe, because
it is stored securely off-site.
Online backup and recovery-specifically, outsourcing
storage operations to third-party services providers-may make more
sense than ever. Whether for consumers, small to medium-sized
businesses (SMBs), or larger enterprises, outsourcing a critical
business function such as backup and recovery, which requires high
reliability and technical expertise. As tapes are lost and hackers
find new ways to break encryption codes, the risk-to-benefit ratio
is in some cases tipping in favor of trusting outside experts to
back up-and recover-your data.
The consulting company, Newell & Associates had a disk drive crash
six months after it began operations. And, even with a fully backed
up system on a tape drive, it took over five days to get a critical
computer system restored. Newell & Associates spend several months investigating
all the alternatives to manual backup systems. And, finally decided
that the best backup system is the one used by Fortune 500 companies.
Companies like IBM, GE, and Amoco.
Most fortune 500 companies use the same basic techniques to protect
their data:
- All their systems are completely automated.
- The data is copied to a central location.
- Highly skilled technicians implement and monitor the process.
The advantages are enormous:
- All files are protected by state of the art encryption (448
Bit), only the
customer can retrieve their files
- Completely automated off-site protection
- Fast online recovery of any version of any protected file
- Easy installation and setup - We will do this for you in a
20-30 minute interactive training session- FREE
- Only an internet connection is required, eliminating the need
for expensive backup equipment and media
- The backup server is monitored by highly skilled technicians whose
only job is to make sure the backups are performed properly
